Just wanted you to know the real me.. I'm a real outdoorsy person. I like horses, tigers, music, good food and kayaking; not necessarily in that order!

I enjoy the outdoors, making music, juggling, eating, word games, and writing fiction. I moved back here with hubby, Bob, in 06 from CA and enjoy being with him when he's home from engineering work in New Hampshire. I've worked as an elementary teacher, an instructional designer, a writer/editor for educational publishers in CA...and I did a brief stint at social services here. I've been writing a novel, a YA suspense called "Taking Hart." It's available as an e-book on Amazon! (author  name is M.A. Noble)

I am glad I have joined the band and met new friends. My trumpeting has improved a lot since I joined, and I've learned things I didn't know (didn't pay attention to?) in high school.

I played clarinet seriously from ages 10 to 20, and then didn't play again until September 2014. My husband, Joel, had to push me into trying New Horizons, but I'm glad I did! We moved away from the North Country last year. I'm now a member of the Eastman Rochester New Horizons Symphonic Band and Clarinet Choir, both of which are directed by Alan Woy, who is a retired professor from Crane.
